In the 24th minute, Elias Nunes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Armindo Cordeiro in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Augusto Gaúcho saved Guarizinho AD from getting behind. In the 34th minute, Guarizinho AD's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Elias Nunes fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 39th minute Armindo Cordeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Augusto Gaúcho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Guarizinho AD's Pedro Augusto Gaúcho got control of the ball when Elias Nunes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Décio Mello acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 65th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Flavinho Barros. In the 66th match minute, Guarizinho AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hamílton França to maneuver through the defense. Guarizinho AD's Pedro Augusto Gaúcho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armindo Cordeiro in the 71st minute of play. Guilherme Ceresso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
