Zé Roberto Vianna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Allan Correia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovani Pereira having to interfere. Geovani Pereira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zé Roberto Vianna in the 46th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Vitório Negri made the kick off in the second half. 62 minutes into the match, Itanhi's goal looked a bit too open when Allan Correia came free, but Geovani Pereira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. José Carlos Toscano charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed José Carlos Toscano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 72nd match minute, Us Guri de Gaurama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Torres to maneuver through the defense. When Josué Paranaense fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Itanhi's protests and gave Josué Paranaense a yellow card for diving instead. Josué Paranaense hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Geovani Pereira came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Us Guri de Gaurama's Allan Correia. But to his dismay, Allan Correia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. A collision led to Us Guri de Gaurama getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Carlos Fernando Mendes hit a great ball. Pedro Paulo Monteiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 91 minutes into the match, Itanhi's Vitório Negri sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Luiz Madureira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Geovani Pereira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Roberto Vianna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Itanhi's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
