Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Norberto Ferraz took the kick off in the first half of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Clemente da Rocha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ananindeua's supporters rose to their feet, but Clemente da Rocha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ernani Carvalho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Mathias Azevedo came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Ananindeua fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mathias Azevedo couldn't finish the play. Ananindeua's Mathias Azevedo got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 15 minutes of play, Ananindeua's Jean Gonçalves made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ernani Carvalho was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 17 played minutes Vilela EC got a freekick which was hit by Glauco Xavier. Ernani Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mathias Azevedo in the 24th minute of the match. Ernani Carvalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mathias Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vilela EC's Ernani Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clemente da Rocha in the 27th minute of play. If Mathias Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th minute, Jean Gonçalves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39th minute Mathias Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernani Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Vilela EC's goal looked a bit too open when Mathias Azevedo came free, but Ernani Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ernani Carvalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clemente da Rocha, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. In the 47th minute Clemente da Rocha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernani Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Mathias Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernani Carvalho having to interfere. Clemente da Rocha came free with the goalkeeper in the 60th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ernani Carvalho could save by the left post. Ernani Carvalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mathias Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 62nd minute Mathias Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernani Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Jean Gonçalves fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ernani Carvalho, passed just outside the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Clemente da Rocha got free with Ernani Carvalho in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Clemente da Rochas short, quick shot in the 68thth minute got Ernani Carvalho to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ernani Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulisses Vides in the 72nd minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Vilela EC's goalkeeper Ernani Carvalho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Clemente da Rocha. Ernani Carvalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mathias Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mathias Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernani Carvalho having to interfere. The supporters of Vilela EC booed when Ananindeua was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathias Azevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 80 minutes of play, Ananindeua's Clemente da Rocha made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ernani Carvalho was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 84th minute, Vilela EC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Mathias Azevedo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Ananindeua's Mathias Azevedo was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 87th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Mathias Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernani Carvalho having to interfere. Ananindeua's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
