Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jeferson Ceresso got the match started through his kick off. Manfredo Ribeiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Dedé Albuquerque fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ideal's protests and gave Dedé Albuquerque a yellow card for diving instead. Dedé Albuquerque kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. After having played for 12 minutes, Manfredo Ribeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marcondesia SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manfredo Ribeiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Marcondesia SS's goalkeeper José Pedro Gomes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 23rd minute, Manfredo Ribeiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Ideal's Dedé Albuquerque got a free kick in the 24th minute. Naldo Passos's late challenge caught a Ideal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Naldo Passos helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Marcondesia SS getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Naldo Passos hit a great ball. José Pedro Gomes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Mangueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers André Mangueira in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg José Pedro Gomes saved Marcondesia SS from getting behind. Pedrinho Andrade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. José Pedro Gomes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ernani do Nascimento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeferson Ceresso, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 43rd minute, Pedrinho Andrade made a precise shot to the right of José Pedro Gomes. Marcondesia SS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and André Mangueira made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Zé Pedro Santana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 54 minutes into the match, Marcondesia SS's Gilson Tinoco broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 58 minutes into the match, Marcondesia SS's Naldo Passos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ernani do Nascimento narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Marcondesia SS booed when Ideal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvaldinho Pirani didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ideal's zone, Manfredo Ribeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ernani do Nascimento came out of the goal and Manfredo Ribeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jeferson Ceresso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernani do Nascimento having to interfere. 64 minutes into the match, Marcondesia SS's Jeferson Ceresso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ernani do Nascimento narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Jeferson Ceresso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Ernani do Nascimento managed to avoid a goal in the 75thth minute, when Marcondesia SS's Manfredo Ribeiro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. José Pedro Gomes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedrinho Andrade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dedê de Alcântara hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Ernani do Nascimento made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manfredo Ribeiro in the 92nd minute. When the match had gone on for 97 minutes, Manfredo Ribeiro put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ernani do Nascimento.
