Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sílvio Rocha started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Galáticos RN - FDFDF booed when Ponciano FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leopoldo Paraíba didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ponciano FC's Edgar Botelho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Ponciano FC from getting a goal against them. Charles de Almeida could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Edgar Botelho made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luiz Eduardo Alvarenga in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Egídio Breckenfeld saved Galáticos RN - FDFDF from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Galáticos RN - FDFDF's Amauri Guimarães got a free kick in the 12th minute. João Carlos da Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Egídio Breckenfeld tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 19 minutes, Richard Tavares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ponciano FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Richard Tavares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sílvio Rocha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luiz Eduardo Alvarenga in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Egídio Breckenfeld prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Amauri Guimarães kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Egídio Breckenfeld showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richard Tavares in the 34th minute of the match. In the 41st play minute Adriano Tróia came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Edgar Botelho. 1-1. João Carlos da Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Egídio Breckenfeld tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luiz Eduardo Alvarenga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell João Carlos da Silva to make the kick off. Charles de Almeida recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Ponciano FC's João Carlos da Silva in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Galáticos RN - FDFDF's goalie prevented a goal. After 60 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ponciano FC! Ponciano FC:s Edgar Botelho showed great skill when he stopped Edgar Penha:s penalty. Edgar Penha took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edgar Botelho. Edgar Botelho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Ponciano FC's zone, Charles de Almeida stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgar Botelho came out of the goal and Charles de Almeida tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sílvio Rocha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Edgar Botelho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Charles de Almeida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Sílvio Rocha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Galáticos RN - FDFDF's supporters rose to their feet, but Sílvio Rocha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edgar Botelho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sílvio Rocha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Edgar Botelho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luiz Eduardo Alvarenga got free with Egídio Breckenfeld in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 90th play minutes Charles de Almeida shot 3-1, a short shot which went by Edgar Botelho and just under the crossbar into goal. João Carlos da Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egídio Breckenfeld having to interfere. Galáticos RN - FDFDF's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
