Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jorge Souza took the kick off in the first half of the match. Baltazar Melo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dé Favoretto in the 3rd minute of the match. Icaissarinha FC's Nilton Melo pulled a muscle in his leg after 5 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 5 minutes, Maurinho Leme mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ferreira and the Icaissarinha FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After recieving a nice pass, Icaissarinha FC's Enio Saraiva tried to score from far away in the 7th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Dino Cordeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Ferreira's zone, Dé Favoretto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baltazar Melo came out of the goal and Dé Favoretto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Baltazar Melo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dé Favoretto in the 16th minute of play. After 18 minutes, Luizão Valadares mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ferreira and the Icaissarinha FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 18th match minute, Ferreira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luizão Valadares to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dé Favoretto in the 18th minute of play forced Ferreira's goalkeeper Baltazar Melo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Dé Favoretto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Luizão Valadares was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 32 minutes had been played. After 33 played minutes Ferreira got a freekick which was hit by Luizão Valadares. If Erivaldo Varela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ferreira's Baltazar Melo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dé Favoretto in the 37th minute of play. Baltazar Melo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Icaissarinha FC. After 43 minutes of play Ferreira's Maurinho Leme was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Ferreira getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Maurinho Leme hit a great ball. Icaissarinha FC's Enio Saraiva couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 44th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Ferreira. Dé Favoretto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristóvão de Godoy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dé Favoretto to make the kick off. Dé Favoretto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Baltazar Melo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Ferreira's Erivaldo Varela got a free kick in the 58th minute. Icaissarinha FC's Dé Favoretto got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dé Favoretto struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Baltazar Melo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Icaissarinha FC. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dé Favoretto got free with Baltazar Melo in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Dino Cordeiro fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Icaissarinha FC's protests and gave Dino Cordeiro a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Icaissarinha FC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Dino Cordeiro hit a great ball. Baltazar Melo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dé Favoretto in the 73rd minute. Dé Favoretto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Baltazar Melo made a huge save. Genílson Barral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Baltazar Melo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baltazar Melo made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Dé Favoretto sent off a good shot on target. Icaissarinha FC's Dé Favoretto got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 87 minutes into the match, Dé Favoretto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Baltazar Melo. Ferreira's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dé Favoretto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Jorge Souza kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Ferreira's Baltazar Melo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Ferreira from getting a goal against them. Dé Favoretto took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Baltazar Melo. Baltazar Melo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2.
