The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 6 minutes, Joaquim Faustino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Majuria SS and the C.R. FlaBrasília players grew even worse after the yellow card. Joaquim Faustino hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. When Pedro Luís Maia came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the C.R. FlaBrasília fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Luís Maia couldn't finish the play. Majuria SS's Daniel Maia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Júlio Zonta in the 22nd minute of play. Rubinho das Neves charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rubinho das Neves the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Majuria SS's Rubinho das Neves got a free kick in the 23rd minute. When Pedro Luís Maia came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the C.R. FlaBrasília fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Luís Maia couldn't finish the play. Pedro Luís Maia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Daniel Maia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Júlio Zonta couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Majuria SS's Carlos Alberto Coutinho got a free kick in the 39th minute. The Majuria SS players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. C.R. FlaBrasília were winning 0-1.

Gabrio Elizondo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiago Trancoso in the 52nd minute of play. Haroldo Gaúcho took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gabrio Elizondo. Gabrio Elizondo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The supporters of Majuria SS booed when C.R. FlaBrasília was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hortêncio de Queiroz didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to C.R. FlaBrasília getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Ernani Paes hit a great ball. Tiago Trancoso took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gabrio Elizondo. Gabrio Elizondo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Gabrio Elizondo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haroldo Gaúcho in the 76th minute of play. Majuria SS's Daniel Maia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Majuria SS from getting a goal against them. 84 minutes into the match, Carlos Alberto Coutinho notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of C.R. FlaBrasília's Gabrio Elizondo. Gabrio Elizondo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Júlio Zonta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Majuria SS had won after a very even match.
