Jeremias Gonçalves kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Glauco Barral struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Germano Valladares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marapicu. In the 11th match minute, Marapicu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leopoldo de Barros to maneuver through the defense. Marapicu's Albertinho Oliveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Víktor Baiano in the 12th minute of play. When C.C.A.A. Guapira's Víktor Baiano in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Marapicu's goalie prevented a goal. Albertinho Oliveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Hermes in the 22nd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Marapicu's goal looked a bit too open when Marcel Veloso came free, but Albertinho Oliveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Glauco Barral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Germano Valladares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Víktor Baiano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Albertinho Oliveira was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Víktor Baiano in the 38th minute of play forced Marapicu's goalkeeper Albertinho Oliveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. C.C.A.A. Guapira's Marcel Veloso got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Glauco Barral to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, C.C.A.A. Guapira's goal looked a bit too open when Glauco Barral came free, but Germano Valladares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcel Veloso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Albertinho Oliveira didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 57th minute, which inside left pole to 0-3. Albertinho Oliveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Víktor Baiano in the 60th minute of the match. A collision led to Marapicu getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Tony Passos hit a great ball. Vinícius Breckenfeld hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Albertinho Oliveira made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Marcel Veloso sent off a good shot on target. Germano Valladares came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Marapicu's Glauco Barral. But to his dismay, Glauco Barral quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Albertinho Oliveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Víktor Baiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. If Marcel Veloso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcel Veloso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcel Veloso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albertinho Oliveira having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Tony Passos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 96th play minute Marcel Veloso came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Albertinho Oliveira. 1-5. C.C.A.A. Guapira's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
