If Dida Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tapara's goalkeeper Fabiano Braga, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Umary's Patrick Batista got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Umary's defense didn't have a chance, in the 77th minute, when Dadá Pires scored to the left of an out of position Dino Negri, making the score, 1-2. When Dudu Paulista came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Tapara fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dudu Paulista couldn't finish the play. 82 minutes into the match, Umary's goal looked a bit too open when Dadá Pires came free, but Dino Negri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 85 minutes, Dida Valle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Umary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dida Valle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 86th minute, Dadá Pires fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Dudu Paulista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dino Negri having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Dida Valle managed to get in a good position for a shot. Umary's supporters rose to their feet, but Dida Valle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabiano Braga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tapara's Dadá Pires got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Umary supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Tapara's performance. The match ended with a win for Tapara.
