Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Hernani Duarte got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artur Campidelis in the 5th minute of play forced Itanhenga SC's goalkeeper Eliseu Vieira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilian Rosado's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 9thth minute, Roger Perez skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 11th minute, Canutama SS's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Hernani Duarte fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Wilian Rosado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Roger Perez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hernani Duarte in the 16th minute of play. Eliseu Vieira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artur Campidelis in the 20th minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, Itanhenga SC's goal looked a bit too open when Artur Campidelis came free, but Eliseu Vieira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 30 minutes, Ademar Sena mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Itanhenga SC and the Canutama SS players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 30th match minute, Itanhenga SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ademar Sena to maneuver through the defense. After 31 played minutes, Canutama SS's Cauã Gonçalves shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eliseu Vieira came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Canutama SS reached it. Roger Perez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hernani Duarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. If Hernani Duarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 39 played minutes Hernani Duarte rounded Canutama SS's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Hernani Duarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Roger Perez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 46 minutes into the match, Itanhenga SC's Hernani Duarte sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roger Perez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 48th minute, Renatinho Gaúcho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Artur Campidelis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Luís Paulo Dantas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Eliseu Vieira made a huge save. A hard shot by Cauã Gonçalves from long distance, 57 minutes into the match, got Eliseu Vieira's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Roger Perez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nando Veloso, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. The audience was convinced that Wilian Rosado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roger Perez was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. When Artur Campidelis fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Canutama SS's protests and gave Artur Campidelis a yellow card for diving instead. Artur Campidelis hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Artur Campidelis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 70 minutes into the match, Itanhenga SC's goalkeeper Eliseu Vieira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luís Paulo Dantas. Hernani Duarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roger Perez having to interfere. Wilian Rosado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roger Perez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hernani Duarte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Itanhenga SC's Manoel Ferraz got a free kick in the 86th minute.
