Renan Martins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldinho Sena in the 3rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Itaperucu SS's Caio Pitta got a free kick in the 7th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Mazinho Melo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Furo Olho Mesmo's supporters rose to their feet, but Mazinho Melo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Augusto Paiva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Furo Olho Mesmo's zone, Osvaldinho Sena stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Renan Martins came out of the goal and Osvaldinho Sena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. João Adolfo Urbano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Osvaldinho Sena fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Itaperucu SS's protests and gave Osvaldinho Sena a yellow card for diving instead. Furo Olho Mesmo's Mazinho Melo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Cauan Rossi in the 27 minute of the game. Augusto Paiva made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mazinho Melo in the 28th minute. After 32 minutes of play Itaperucu SS's Osvaldinho Sena was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Geovanni Mazza hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Alfredão Fernandez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renan Martins having to interfere. Caio Pitta kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and João Adolfo Urbano made a kick off. If Mazinho Melo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Itaperucu SS's goalkeeper Augusto Paiva, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Adolfo Urbano in the 61st minute of play forced Itaperucu SS's goalkeeper Augusto Paiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Furo Olho Mesmo booed when Itaperucu SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rubens Maciel didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 71st match minute, Furo Olho Mesmo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mazinho Melo to maneuver through the defense. In the 72nd match minute, Itaperucu SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivo Secco to maneuver through the defense. João Adolfo Urbano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Augusto Paiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Mazinho Melo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute, Mazinho Melo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 82 minutes into the game, Furo Olho Mesmo's Mazinho Melo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Augusto Paiva made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Furo Olho Mesmo's Mazinho Melo got a free kick in the 87th minute. The supporters of Furo Olho Mesmo booed when Itaperucu SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredão Fernandez didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee ended the match the Furo Olho Mesmo players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
