In the 9th minute, Baltazar Moreno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pedro Paulo do Valle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Murilo Lima having to interfere. Sibéria F. C.'s Murilo Lima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Paulo do Valle in the 19th minute of play. When Pedro Paulo do Valle came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Mumbuca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Paulo do Valle couldn't finish the play. Maurinho Macedo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Miguel Nascimento made a huge save. Baltazar Moreno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mumbuca's Miguel Nascimento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amílton Batista in the 28th minute of play. In the 31st minute Amílton Batista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Nascimento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Afonsinho Britto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Murilo Lima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Afonsinho Britto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Murilo Lima having to interfere. Murilo Lima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afonsinho Britto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Amílton Batista to strike the kick off in the second half. Murilo Lima made an important save on a dangerous shot by Afonsinho Britto in the 53rd minute. Amílton Batista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Miguel Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 59th minute, Benedito Castro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Beto Donato sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mumbuca's Pedro Paulo do Valle got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 71 minutes in the game, Pedro Paulo do Valle fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Murilo Lima having to interfere. Amílton Batista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
