Josué Mendonça took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tiaguinho Motta. Artur Secco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dênis Britto got free with Marcus Romero in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 31st minute Frozinho SS were awarded a corner. Joélson Chaves went to the cornerflag to take it. Marcus Romero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Paulo Porto in the 33rd minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Artur Secco to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Frozinho SS's goal looked a bit too open when Josué Mendonça came free, but Tiaguinho Motta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frozinho SS's Tiaguinho Motta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artur Secco in the 55th minute of play. Tiaguinho Motta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artur Secco, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 57 minutes into the match, Artur Secco notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Frozinho SS's Tiaguinho Motta. Tiaguinho Motta was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tiaguinho Motta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artur Secco, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. With a little luck, Frozinho SS's Tiaguinho Motta got control of the ball when Josué Mendonça tried to sneak it across the goal line. Artur Secco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tiaguinho Motta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. Luís Fernando Corrêa hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. If Josué Mendonça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. ASoto Team's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
