Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Basílio Peixoto started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Bilheira SS's zone, Bebeto Paulista stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgar Veloso came out of the goal and Bebeto Paulista tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edgar Veloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basílio Peixoto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bebeto Paulista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bilheira SS's Edgar Veloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basílio Peixoto in the 10th minute of play. Adalberto Marques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Mangueira having to interfere. In the 15th match minute, Caputira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruninho Tasso to maneuver through the defense. Josué Batista charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Josué Batista the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Basílio Peixoto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 37 minutes of play, Caputira's Basílio Peixoto made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edgar Veloso was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Basílio Peixoto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edgar Veloso was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Bebeto Paulista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Basílio Peixoto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caputira's supporters rose to their feet, but Basílio Peixoto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edgar Veloso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 46thth minute of the game Bebeto Paulista who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bilheira SS's Edgar Veloso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Orlando Queiroz made a kick off. If Bebeto Paulista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bilheira SS's Edgar Veloso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Bilheira SS from getting a goal against them. Basílio Peixoto might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edgar Veloso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Basílio Peixoto ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 68th minute of the match Caetano Baptista shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edgar Veloso showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 70thth minute of the game Basílio Peixoto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bilheira SS's Edgar Veloso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 76th minute Orlando Queiroz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Mangueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Basílio Peixoto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Orlando Queiroz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Orlando Queiroz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. João Mangueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sílvio Terra during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
