Edgar Veloso made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Rafael Novaes sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Bilheira SS's zone, Rafael Novaes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgar Veloso came out of the goal and Rafael Novaes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Henrique de Queiroz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adalberto Marques in the 9th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Bilheira SS's zone, Marcel Marques stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgar Veloso came out of the goal and Marcel Marques tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Rafael Novaes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcel Marques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 23 in the game by Rafael Novaes from a close distance when the talented Edgar Veloso managed to make a qualified save. Bilheira SS's players were relieved. In the 28th match minute, Moita AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto Marinho to maneuver through the defense. Marcel Marques blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edgar Veloso having to make a save. If Marcel Marques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute, Moita AD's Marcel Marques ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Edgar Veloso. Edgar Veloso yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcel Marques in the 41st minute of play forced Bilheira SS's goalkeeper Edgar Veloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 46 minutes into the game, Moita AD's Rafael Novaes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edgar Veloso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Orlando Queiroz made a kick off. If Percy Leal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcel Marques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Veloso having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Digo da Costa during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Digo da Costa hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Evandro Loureiro, 71 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Edgar Veloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcel Marques in the 73rd minute of the match. When the match clock showed 75 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Marcel Marques sped through Bilheira SS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Edgar Veloso. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adalberto Marques got free with Henrique de Queiroz in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 90 minutes, Marcel Marques managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Moita AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcel Marques was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 91 played minutes Bilheira SS got a freekick which was hit by Sílvio Terra. Orlando Queiroz struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Henrique de Queiroz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bilheira SS.
