Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ulisses Barros made the kick off which started today's match. Ulisses Barros's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elder Antunes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luiz Eduardo Neiva during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Luiz Eduardo Neiva hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Alves in the 16th minute of play forced Piquara's goalkeeper Fausto Guedes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Red Hot Chili Peppers's goalkeeper Elder Antunes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Washington Zanette fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Guedes having to interfere. Ulisses da Mata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Ulisses Barros's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elder Antunes was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

54 minutes into the match, Fernando Alves notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Piquara's Fausto Guedes. Fausto Guedes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fernando Alves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Samuel Silva hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 65th minute of the match Gilmar Proença sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Elder Antunes skillfully saved the ball. In the 65th minute, Luiz Eduardo Neiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Washington Zanette received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Fausto Guedes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elder Antunes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulisses da Mata, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Red Hot Chili Peppers's zone, Ulisses da Mata stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elder Antunes came out of the goal and Ulisses da Mata tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 78th minute Ulisses da Mata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elder Antunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Washington Zanette received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Fausto Guedes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fernando Alves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Fausto Guedes made a huge save. The supporters of Piquara booed when Red Hot Chili Peppers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 99 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Pedro de Toledo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gilmar Proença took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 99th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Elder Antunes. Red Hot Chili Peppers's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The Piquara supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Red Hot Chili Peppers's performance. The match ended with a win for Red Hot Chili Peppers.
