Wiliam Eger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Vergílio in the 20th minute of play. David Vergílio in the 22ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Wiliam Eger, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. David Vergílio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Wiliam Eger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, Vertice's David Vergílio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wiliam Eger narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Amílton Pinheiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Allan Brito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil Almeida having to interfere. Amílton Pinheiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Wiliam Eger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. David Vergílio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Wiliam Eger made a huge save. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Allan Brito to strike the kick off in the second half. David Vergílio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Allan Brito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil Almeida having to interfere. Torcida's Allan Brito got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vivaldo Prado was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 64th minute. Torcida's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When David Vergílio came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Vertice fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Vergílio couldn't finish the play. 76 minutes into the match, Torcida's goal looked a bit too open when Amílton Pinheiro came free, but Wiliam Eger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. David Vergílio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amílton Pinheiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wiliam Eger read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Wiliam Eger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amílton Pinheiro in the 82nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Vertice's zone, Allan Brito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gil Almeida came out of the goal and Allan Brito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. David Vergílio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If David Vergílio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
