Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jonas Freitas kicked off to start the match. After 3 minutes, Amílton Pinheiro made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. The Last Word's Cristóvão Varela tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Mateus Félix hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Betinho Amaral kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Betinho Amaral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Last Word's Cristóvão Varela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amílton Pinheiro in the 16th minute of play. David Vergílio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 19 minutes, Diguinho Saraiva mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the The Last Word and the Vertice players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, The Last Word's Diguinho Saraiva got a free kick in the 19th minute. If Amílton Pinheiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gil Almeida made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pedrinho Mineiro in the 27th minute. Jonas Freitas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Gil Almeida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedrinho Mineiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 34 minutes into the match, The Last Word's Jonas Freitas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gil Almeida narrowly saved just below the crossbar. David Vergílio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristóvão Varela having to interfere. The supporters of Vertice booed when The Last Word was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manfredo Meireles didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vertice's David Vergílio got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Pedrinho Mineiro came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the The Last Word fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedrinho Mineiro couldn't finish the play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Amílton Pinheiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 60thth minute of the game Amílton Pinheiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but The Last Word's Cristóvão Varela was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gil Almeida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedrinho Mineiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Vertice booed when The Last Word was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdo França didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 71st minute, Jonas Freitas made a precise shot to the right of Gil Almeida. Vertice's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The supporters of The Last Word booed when Vertice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateus Félix didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gil Almeida came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by The Last Word's Pedrinho Mineiro. But to his dismay, Pedrinho Mineiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Mateus Félix's late challenge caught a The Last Word's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mateus Félix helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Vertice's Mateus Félix got a free kick in the 86th minute. Jonas Freitas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Gil Almeida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, The Last Word's Manfredo Meireles got a free kick in the 95th minute. In the 96th minute of the match Artur do Valle sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cristóvão Varela skillfully saved the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. The Last Word had won after a very even match.
