Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rodriguinho Freire got the match started through his kick off. If Edmond Stessel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 10 minutes into the match, Geary FC's goal looked a bit too open when Matheus Velloso came free, but Celso Vianna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Edmond Stessel came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Itapevy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmond Stessel couldn't finish the play. Geary FC's Celso Vianna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matheus Velloso in the 20th minute of play. Diamantino Veloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dênis Correia in the 22nd minute of the match. Jairo Silva hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. After having played for 25 minutes, Edmond Stessel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Itapevy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmond Stessel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Matheus Velloso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celso Vianna having to interfere. Matheus Velloso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Celso Vianna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Rodriguinho Freire ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Diamantino Veloso was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 44 minutes into the match, Matheus Velloso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Celso Vianna. Geary FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Matheus Velloso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Matheus Velloso to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dênis Correia during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Itapevy booed when Geary FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dênis Correia didn't get a good kick on the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Itapevy's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Santana came free, but Diamantino Veloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Itapevy getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Wellington Lopez hit a great ball. Diamantino Veloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jairo Silva, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 69th minute Dênis Correia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diamantino Veloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 70 minutes, Matheus Velloso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Itapevy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matheus Velloso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 72nd minute, Edmond Stessel reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Celso Vianna. The goal made the score 1-2. In the 76th play minute Matheus Velloso came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Celso Vianna. 1-3. When Edmond Stessel came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Itapevy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmond Stessel couldn't finish the play. Matheus Velloso shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Wellington Lopez scored 1-4 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Celso Vianna, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Edmond Stessel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celso Vianna having to interfere. Matheus Velloso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Celso Vianna read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. Jairo Silva hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Edmond Stessel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Celso Vianna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Itapevy's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
