Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jacinto Pontes kicked off to start the match. Celso Vianna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacinto Pontes in the 3rd minute of the match. In the 6th minute Rodriguinho Freire shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Júnior Velloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jacinto Pontes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Celso Vianna read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Geary FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Diamantino Pernambucano fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Joel de Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joel de Barros didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-0 via right post in the game's 25th minute. Guaramano's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! 28 minutes into the match, Guaramano's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Santana came free, but Júnior Velloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Pedrinho Tavares fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Geary FC's protests and gave Pedrinho Tavares a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 34th minute of the game. One of Geary FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Guaramano:s goal. The goalkeeper, Celso Vianna, was totally fooled by Guaramano's Luiz Eduardo Simões, who 36 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The supporters of Guaramano booed when Geary FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dênis Correia didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th minute, Guaramano's Jacinto Pontes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Celso Vianna. Celso Vianna yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rodriguinho Freire to make the kick off. Rodriguinho Freire fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Júnior Velloso having to interfere. Válter Araújo hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. After 65th play minutes Joel de Barros shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Celso Vianna and just under the crossbar into goal. Júnior Velloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodriguinho Freire, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Jacinto Pontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Celso Vianna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel de Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Celso Vianna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel de Barros in the 78th minute of play. Válter Araújo hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Jacinto Pontes put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Celso Vianna. Joel de Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Celso Vianna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 87 minutes, Jairo Silva mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Geary FC and the Guaramano players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jairo Silva hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel de Barros in the 88th minute of play forced Geary FC's goalkeeper Celso Vianna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Celso Vianna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacinto Pontes in the 89th minute of the match. Dênis Correia kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. After having played for 93 minutes, Jacinto Pontes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guaramano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacinto Pontes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Guaramano's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
