Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Samuca Vidal started the match with the kick off. In the 5thth minute of the game Ernani Marquez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aliança Futebol Clube's Deivid Moreira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aliança Futebol Clube's Deivid Moreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernani Marquez in the 7th minute of play. Samuca Vidal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arlindo de Amaral read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. The supporters of Arvoredos booed when Aliança Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dionísio Veloso didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kléber de Souza in the 16th minute of play forced Aliança Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Deivid Moreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the game, Samuca Vidal recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Arlindo de Amaral. Samuca Vidal showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. If Ernani Marquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Deivid Moreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kléber de Souza in the 27th minute of the match. In the 29th minute Kléber de Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Deivid Moreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kléber de Souza scored 1-1 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Deivid Moreira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Arvoredos's Ernani Marquez got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joaquim Garcia hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Aliança Futebol Clube's Cido Andrade tried to score from far away in the 35th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Arlindo de Amaral made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sabino Oliveira in the 39th minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kléber de Souza to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Aliança Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Deivid Moreira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Luiz Gustavo Souza fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arvoredos's protests and gave Luiz Gustavo Souza a yellow card for diving instead. Samuca Vidal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st match minute, Aliança Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cido Andrade to maneuver through the defense. Ernani Marquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 66th minute, Sabino Oliveira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Samuca Vidal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aliança Futebol Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Samuca Vidal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arlindo de Amaral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Samuca Vidal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. Deivid Moreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kléber de Souza, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. After a rather tough play, Arvoredos's Ernani de Salles got a free kick in the 88th minute. Arvoredos's Arlindo de Amaral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuca Vidal in the 91st minute of play.
