Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Silvinho Faustino started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Kléber de Souza fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Frederico Fernandes, passed just outside the right post. 5 minutes into the match, Cauã Massa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arlindo de Amaral. Arvoredos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cauã Massa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Pedro Paulo Arósio's late challenge caught a Seca EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pedro Paulo Arósio helped the player get up and apologised. After 13 played minutes Arvoredos got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Paulo Arósio. In the 20th minute of the match Arvoredos got a corner. Seca EC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joaquim Garcia ran over to the corner to take the kick. Arlindo de Amaral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvinho Faustino in the 22nd minute of play. Arlindo de Amaral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cauã Massa, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Kléber de Souza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Frederico Fernandes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 27 minutes, Ernani Marquez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arvoredos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernani Marquez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luiz Gustavo Souza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frederico Fernandes having to interfere. Ernani Marquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The wind increased when Kléber de Souza made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Celsinho Marques got free with Arlindo de Amaral in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arlindo de Amaral made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cauã Massa in the 56th minute. 56 minutes into the game, Cauã Massa recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Arlindo de Amaral. Cauã Massa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Celsinho Marques hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. After 63 minutes of play, Seca EC's Silvinho Faustino made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arlindo de Amaral was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ernani Marquez struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Frederico Fernandes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arvoredos. Frederico Fernandes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kléber de Souza in the 71st minute of play. Gildo Zilles charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gildo Zilles the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 73 played minutes Seca EC got a freekick which was hit by Gildo Zilles. In the 77thth minute of the game Silvinho Faustino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Arvoredos's Arlindo de Amaral was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 80th minute Kléber de Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frederico Fernandes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arvoredos's Kléber de Souza got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Cauã Massa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silvinho Faustino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cauã Massa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arlindo de Amaral having to interfere. Arlindo de Amaral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvinho Faustino in the 98th minute of the match. When the match was over Seca EC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Arvoredos throughout the match.
