Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Taboinha SC's Alfredão de Toledo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Claudinho Toscano during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Cruzilia booed when Taboinha SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudinho Toscano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 7th minute, Luan Saldanha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dorival Bertassi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Délio Ferreira having to interfere. When Dorival Bertassi came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Cruzilia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dorival Bertassi couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dorival Bertassi in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Délio Ferreira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Dorival Bertassi sped through Taboinha SC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Délio Ferreira. Túlio Baptista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Adalberto Mendes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Dorival Bertassi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Délio Ferreira was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Dorival Bertassi scored 0-2 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Délio Ferreira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 45 minutes into the match, José Paulo Carneiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Délio Ferreira. Taboinha SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that José Paulo Carneiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Dorival Bertassi made the kick off in the second half. José Paulo Carneiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Délio Ferreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Célio Corrêa during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 56 played minutes Cruzilia got a freekick which was hit by Célio Corrêa. After having played for 57 minutes, Túlio Baptista managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Taboinha SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Túlio Baptista was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luan Saldanha during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 58th minute, Luan Saldanha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 62 minutes into the match, Dorival Bertassi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Délio Ferreira, 0-4. José Paulo Carneiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Délio Ferreira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. José Paulo Carneiro struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Délio Ferreira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cruzilia. In the 72nd minute, Humberto Nunes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. José Paulo Carneiro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 73rdth minute tested the skills of Délio Ferreira when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Richard Montenegro kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. 84 minutes into the match, Taboinha SC's goal looked a bit too open when Dorival Bertassi came free, but Délio Ferreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adalberto Mendes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredão de Toledo in the 87th minute of the match. After having played for 90 minutes, Túlio Baptista managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Taboinha SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Túlio Baptista was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Cruzilia's zone, Alfredão de Toledo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adalberto Mendes came out of the goal and Alfredão de Toledo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. José Paulo Carneiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
