Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Zeca Goiano started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Glycerio's Zeca Goiano in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cabra SS's goalie prevented a goal. In the 12th minute, Rodolfo do Vale got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zeca Goiano in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ismael Arruda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Emílio Duarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diamantino Neto having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Emílio Duarte got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rodolfo do Vale blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Diamantino Neto having to make a save. Nilton Pernambucano hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Cabra SS's José Augusto Meireles got a free kick in the 33rd minute. When Cabra SS's Emílio Duarte in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Glycerio's goalie prevented a goal. In the 43rd minute, Dadá Mumbach hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emílio Duarte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 47 minutes, Emílio Duarte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cabra SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emílio Duarte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rodolfo do Vale made a kick off. Emílio Duarte struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Diamantino Neto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cabra SS. After 52 played minutes Glycerio got a freekick which was hit by Luís Luz. In the 59th minute Emílio Duarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diamantino Neto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Glycerio's zone, Emílio Duarte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diamantino Neto came out of the goal and Emílio Duarte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 66 minutes, Rodolfo do Vale managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cabra SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodolfo do Vale was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 73 minutes into the match, Glycerio's goal looked a bit too open when Emílio Duarte came free, but Diamantino Neto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 75 played minutes Glycerio got a freekick which was hit by Yan da Rocha. Emílio Duarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Emílio Duarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Glycerio's goalkeeper Diamantino Neto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Zeca Goiano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Glycerio's supporters rose to their feet, but Zeca Goiano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ismael Arruda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Emílio Duarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Diamantino Neto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Diamantino Neto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rodolfo do Vale went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score.
