Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Vânderson Linares took the kick off in the first half of the match. Cabra SS's Ismael Arruda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tião Guimarães in the 3rd minute of play. The supporters of Pagode SS booed when Cabra SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Lopes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tião Guimarães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael Arruda having to interfere. The long shot by Luiz Fernando Martins in the 8th minute really tested Ismael Arruda's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Rodolfo do Vale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Teixeira having to interfere. Ismael Arruda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vânderson Linares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13thth minute of the game Vânderson Linares who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cabra SS's Ismael Arruda was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Waldemar Pirani during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 15 played minutes Pagode SS got a freekick which was hit by Waldemar Pirani. After 19 played minutes Pagode SS got a freekick which was hit by Nilmar de Souza. If Vânderson Linares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Emílio Duarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tião Guimarães sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vânderson Linares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Ismael Arruda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 38th play minutes Vânderson Linares shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Ismael Arruda and just under the crossbar into goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rodolfo do Vale was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 60 minutes, Tião Guimarães managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pagode SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tião Guimarães was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vânderson Linares took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ismael Arruda. Ismael Arruda dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Cabra SS's Rodolfo do Vale slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Luís Teixeira. That made the score 2-1 after 66 minutes of play. If Rodolfo do Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute of the match Fausto Amaral shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ismael Arruda showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Vânderson Linares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vânderson Linares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Ismael Arruda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tião Guimarães sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tião Guimarães in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ismael Arruda saved Cabra SS from getting behind. In the 89th minute, Vânderson Linares ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ismael Arruda was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. The audience was convinced that Vânderson Linares's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ismael Arruda was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. The attack was good, but when Tião Guimarães in the 96th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. There was no doubt that Pagode SS were the better team. Pagode SS's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
