Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Duda de Amorim kicked off to start the match. 5 minutes into the game, Norberto Vieira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Acudinho's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Glycerio the free kick. Norberto Vieira kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Duda de Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diamantino Neto having to interfere. Diamantino Neto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aílton Recife, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Duda de Amorim struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Diamantino Neto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Acudinho. Zé Carlos Gonçalves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Ulysses Alvarenga made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nilton Pernambucano during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 17 played minutes Glycerio got a freekick which was hit by Nilton Pernambucano. If Aílton Recife had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Duda de Amorim in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Diamantino Neto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aílton Recife blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Diamantino Neto having to make a save. If Aílton Recife had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Acudinho's Duda de Amorim in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Glycerio's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Glycerio getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Dadá Mumbach hit a great ball. In the 37th match minute, Acudinho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jefferson do Nascimento to maneuver through the defense. After 44 played minutes Acudinho got a freekick which was hit by Norberto Vieira. Ulysses Alvarenga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeca Goiano in the 46th minute of play.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zeca Goiano to strike the kick off in the second half. Aílton Recife fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diamantino Neto having to interfere. Diamantino Neto made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Aílton Recife sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zeca Goiano during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 61st minute, Zeca Goiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Edmundo Maranhense fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Glycerio's protests and gave Edmundo Maranhense a yellow card for diving instead. Aílton Recife succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 70th playminute. Zé Carlos Gonçalves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulysses Alvarenga having to interfere. Diamantino Neto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Duda de Amorim in the 83rd minute of the match. With his leg Diamantino Neto managed to avoid a goal in the 88thth minute, when Acudinho's Aílton Recife fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 95th minute Zeca Goiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulysses Alvarenga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Glycerio fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Acudinho were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
