Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Arí Saldanha made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute Arí Saldanha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomé Leite saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Silas Guimarães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Itapore AD's César Penha got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Oscar Secco made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Luiz Guilherme Tepedino sent off a good shot on target. 23 minutes into the match, Silas Guimarães notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Itapore AD's Tomé Leite. Tomé Leite was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Arí Saldanha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Tomé Leite tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silas Guimarães sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Itapore AD booed when Vermes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Paulo Matos didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Luiz Guilherme Tepedino came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Itapore AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luiz Guilherme Tepedino couldn't finish the play. 36 minutes into the match, Vermes's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Guilherme Tepedino came free, but Oscar Secco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arí Saldanha in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tomé Leite saved Itapore AD from getting behind. Arí Saldanha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Silas Guimarães managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vermes's supporters rose to their feet, but Silas Guimarães was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomé Leite breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luiz Guilherme Tepedino did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Oscar Secco 46 minutes into the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

After having played for 55 minutes, Luiz Guilherme Tepedino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Itapore AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luiz Guilherme Tepedino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Oscar Secco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from César Penha, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. When Luiz Guilherme Tepedino came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Itapore AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luiz Guilherme Tepedino couldn't finish the play. Luiz Guilherme Tepedino struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Oscar Secco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Itapore AD. 71 minutes into the match, Vermes's Silas Guimarães sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tomé Leite narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Luiz Guilherme Tepedino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Vermes's zone, César Penha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oscar Secco came out of the goal and César Penha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Itapore AD defense, Arí Saldanha kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tomé Leite. The Itapore AD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tomé Leite should have stopped the shot. Oscar Secco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luiz Guilherme Tepedino's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Lucas Bezerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomé Leite made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Silas Guimarães sent off a good shot on target. The Vermes players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
