Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Mapele SC's Hortêncio Mineiro started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Raí Dias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Raí Dias in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg José Seco saved Mapele SC from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Raí Dias managed to get in a good position for a shot. Liverpool FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Raí Dias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José Seco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Lúcio Travassos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raí Dias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. José Seco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Liverpool FC were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after Mapele SC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Celso Donatello took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Celso Donatello got away a dangerous shot. Despite this José Seco quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Robinho da Cunha hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Lúcio Travassos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dida Campidelis kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. When Celso Donatello came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Liverpool FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Celso Donatello couldn't finish the play. Vicente Porto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Robinho da Cunha in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lúcio Travassos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Robinho da Cunha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Baltazar Toledo charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Baltazar Toledo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 53 minutes into the game, one of Liverpool FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 55th minute there was a penalty for Mapele SC. João Augusto Romero stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Vicente Porto. 2-0. Vicente Porto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robinho da Cunha in the 58th minute of the match. In the 60th minute, Lúcio Travassos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Liverpool FC's Agostinho Vianna was substituted for Baltazar Toledo. Liverpool FC made a substitution. Délio Tróia replaced Dida Campidelis. Lúcio Travassos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 70th minute Valério de Senna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Porto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, Valério de Senna had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vicente Porto. Liverpool FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valério de Senna was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Liverpool FC's Vicente Porto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hortêncio Mineiro in the 75th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 77th minute by Tiago Gabriel Brodel got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Vicente Porto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hortêncio Mineiro in the 81st minute of play. Hortêncio Mineiro took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vicente Porto. Vicente Porto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. If Tiago Gabriel Brodel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tiago Gabriel Brodel in the 92ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of José Seco, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Vicente Porto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giuseppe Jacinto in the 93rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Mapele SC defense, Tiago Gabriel Brodel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of José Seco. The Mapele SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that José Seco should have stopped the shot. Robinho da Cunha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Mapele SC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
