Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Arnaldo da Fonseca started the match with the kick off. Godoy Imoveis F.C's Leonel Andrade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adolfo Queiroz in the 3rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Arnaldo da Fonseca's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vânderson de Almeida was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arnaldo da Fonseca in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Arnaldo da Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Vânderson de Almeida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th match minute, Mateiro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusébio Lucas to maneuver through the defense. Vânderson de Almeida was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sandro Arce showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 27 minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Arnaldo da Fonseca notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Mateiro's Vânderson de Almeida. Vânderson de Almeida was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 35 minutes into the game, Marcelinho de Barros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mateiro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Godoy Imoveis F.C the free kick. A collision led to Mateiro getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Marcelinho de Barros hit a great ball. 4-0 became the score in the 36th minute when Sandro Arce elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Arnaldo da Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Vânderson de Almeida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 46 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mateiro's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Arnaldo da Fonseca was slow to take the kick. During this time Godoy Imoveis F.C's players had a chance to rest. At last the ball reached Evandro Faustino at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Mateiro. 5-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vágner Félix to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arnaldo da Fonseca in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vânderson de Almeida prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Bernardo Corrêa came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Mateiro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernardo Corrêa couldn't finish the play. If Arnaldo da Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eliseu Valadares during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 64 played minutes Mateiro got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Corrêa. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Sandro Arce managed to get in a good position for a shot. Godoy Imoveis F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Sandro Arce was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vânderson de Almeida breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Mateiro's Eriberto Bueno got a free kick in the 72nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vágner Félix in the 80th minute of play forced Godoy Imoveis F.C's goalkeeper Leonel Andrade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adolfo Queiroz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Leonel Andrade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 87 minutes, Cristiano Di Piazza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Godoy Imoveis F.C and the Mateiro players grew even worse after the yellow card.
