Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Joel Nascimento made the kick off which started today's match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Paulo Lara in the 2nd minute of play forced Cacauzinho SS's goalkeeper Baltazar Britto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th minute Joel Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Régis Recife saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tiago de Almeida recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpected shot in the 10th minute by Václav Hoza got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 17 minutes of play, Assu's Luís Paulo Lara made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Baltazar Britto was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Danilo Marquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Assu defense, Václav Hoza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Régis Recife. The Assu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Régis Recife should have stopped the shot. Régis Recife made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Danilo Marquez sent off a good shot on target. Régis Recife was a little too slow when Joel Nascimento got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 31st minute. The score was now 2-1. Danilo Marquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 37th minute, Deivid Medeiros ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Régis Recife was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. After 40 played minutes Cacauzinho SS got a freekick which was hit by Renatinho Pimenta. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Assu's goalkeeper Régis Recife, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Joel Nascimento was extremely unlucky when he, in the 47th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Chicão Couto was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Assu getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Olívio Machado hit a great ball. Danilo Marquez struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Régis Recife didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cacauzinho SS. When Václav Hoza came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Cacauzinho SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Václav Hoza couldn't finish the play. Felippe Correia charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Régis Recife made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Deivid Medeiros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cacauzinho SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Deivid Medeiros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Régis Recife breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Cacauzinho SS booed when Assu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felippe Correia didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Danilo Marquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernardo Tasso hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. 83 minutes into the match, Assu's goal looked a bit too open when Václav Hoza came free, but Régis Recife reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Deivid Medeiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Danilo Marquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Assu's Régis Recife played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Nascimento in the 92nd minute of play. 97 minutes into the match, Assu's goal looked a bit too open when Danilo Marquez came free, but Régis Recife reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cacauzinho SS walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
