The throw-in from Albertinho Zilles in the 4th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Arauna SC's Mateus Moreira. In the 16th minute, José Dantas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Red Bull da Barra fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 22 minutes into the game, Chaichana Schweinsteiger threw the ball into play from the sideline. Arauna SC's Mateus Moreira quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 22nd minute of the match Mateus Moreira sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leó Polgár skillfully saved the ball. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Red Bull da Barra's goalkeeper Leó Polgár, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Thomás de Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If José Dantas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emiliano Atroce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Dantas in the 46th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when José Dantas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Arauna SC got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Fernando Teixeira. 59 minutes into the game, Rodrigo de Toledo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Red Bull da Barra's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arauna SC the free kick. Rodrigo de Toledo hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Red Bull da Barra's zone, Thomás de Alcântara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leó Polgár came out of the goal and Thomás de Alcântara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Yuri Moura charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yuri Moura the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Emiliano Atroce was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Albertinho Zilles. Arauna SC's Emiliano Atroce proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Arauna SC from getting a goal against them. 74 minutes into the match, Arauna SC's goalkeeper Emiliano Atroce had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by José Dantas. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlos Fernando Teixeira during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 75th match minute, Arauna SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Fernando Teixeira to maneuver through the defense. Arauna SC's Emiliano Atroce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Dantas in the 82nd minute of play. The supporters of Arauna SC booed when Red Bull da Barra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albertinho Zilles didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Arauna SC's Thomás de Alcântara in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
