Leonel Leme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Gustavo Félix, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Gino dos Santos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Zé Pedro Carneiro came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the AC Piemonte fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zé Pedro Carneiro couldn't finish the play. Márcio Brodel kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, AC Piemonte's Geovanni Nóbrega broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Zé Pedro Carneiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 48 minutes, Bruninho da Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AC Piemonte's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bruninho da Fonseca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

Gino dos Santos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luís Paulo Mendonça took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Pedro Carneiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gino dos Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Paulo Mendonça having to interfere. In the 70th minute, Zé Pedro Carneiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 71st match minute, Ibitiara EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severino Carioca to maneuver through the defense. Gino dos Santos who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 72ndth minute tested the skills of Luís Paulo Mendonça when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Gino dos Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Zé Pedro Carneiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luís Paulo Mendonça was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Luís Paulo Mendonça made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Pedro Carneiro in the 94th minute of play. Gino dos Santos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. AC Piemonte's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
