Oscar Varela kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. If Denílson Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Divino SC's Rodriguinho Leão got control of the ball when Vicente Peres tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 72ndth minute of the game Hudson Simão who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Milona SS's Tião Pinheiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 77 minutes into the game, Eusébio Goiano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Divino SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Milona SS the free kick. In the 77th minute, Eusébio Goiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hudson Simão got in the 79th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Tião Pinheiro handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vicente Peres in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodriguinho Leão saved Divino SC from getting behind. When Hudson Simão came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Divino SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hudson Simão couldn't finish the play. Eusébio Goiano succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-2 in the 87th playminute. When Gilvan da Fonseca fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Divino SC's protests and gave Gilvan da Fonseca a yellow card for diving instead. Gilvan da Fonseca hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match.
