In the 11thth minute of the game Lauro Toscano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Santana's Gualter Silveira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Christian Souza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Léo Ribeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Natanael Corrêa in the 22nd minute of the match. 34 minutes into the game, Evandro Fernandez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Léo Ribeiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Arreios SS booed when Santana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Natanael Corrêa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
