Sydney Nóbrega could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Nuno de Godoy made a huge save. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 46th minute of the game. One of Jaragua FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Bacre AD:s goal. In the 48th minute there was a penalty for Bacre AD. Fellipe de Azevedo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Oséias Cruz. 0-2. After the first half Bacre AD were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Silvinho Alcântara was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Jaragua FC's Wilton de Lima got a free kick in the 54th minute. If Breno Sampaio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nuno de Godoy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvinho Alcântara in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 70th minute, Sydney Nóbrega ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nuno de Godoy was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Valdomiro Senas short, quick shot in the 74thth minute got Oséias Cruz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 77thth minute of the game Breno Sampaio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jaragua FC's Oséias Cruz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Valdomiro Sena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Breno Sampaio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Jaragua FC defense, Valdomiro Sena kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Oséias Cruz. The Jaragua FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Oséias Cruz should have stopped the shot. 99 minutes into the match, Jaragua FC's goal looked a bit too open when Breno Sampaio came free, but Oséias Cruz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Bacre AD players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
