Timaneira's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Léo Antunes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Edvaldo Toledo hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Cesinha do Valle struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Edmundo Andrade didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sumauma SC. 20 minutes into the match, Timaneira's goal looked a bit too open when Cesinha do Valle came free, but Edmundo Andrade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Jeferson Siqueira fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sumauma SC's protests and gave Jeferson Siqueira a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 22nd minute of the game. One of Sumauma SC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Timaneira:s goal. Sumauma SC's Matías Vianna proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Sumauma SC from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Timaneira's Percy Baiano got a free kick in the 32nd minute. The Timaneira players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sumauma SC were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adhemar Fontes to make the kick off. Cesinha do Valle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Léo Antunes succeeded in the game's 64th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. Matías Vianna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adhemar Fontes, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Rony da Silva charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rony da Silva the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Timaneira getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Rony da Silva hit a great ball. Edmundo Andrade made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Léo Antunes sent off a good shot on target. Edmundo Andrade was a little too slow when Cesinha do Valle got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 93rd minute. The score was now 0-3. The Sumauma SC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
