Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Erik Valle took the kick off in the first half of the match. Adhemar Fontes might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aleandro dos Santos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adhemar Fontes ran back to his position shaking his head. If Adhemar Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Edmundo Andrade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erik Valle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute, Leopoldo Mangueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edmundo Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik Valle in the 25th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Adhemar Fontes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aleandro dos Santos. Anjinho SS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adhemar Fontes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Erik Valle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmundo Andrade having to interfere. Régis Vidal hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. 43 minutes into the game, Anjinho SS's Erik Valle nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edmundo Andrade made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Erik Valle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Edmundo Andrade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nilton Tinoco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aleandro dos Santos having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adhemar Fontes in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aleandro dos Santos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Adhemar Fontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 74 minutes into the game, Anjinho SS's Elói da Rocha nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edmundo Andrade made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elói da Rocha got free with Edmundo Andrade in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Adhemar Fontes might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aleandro dos Santos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adhemar Fontes ran back to his position shaking his head. Aleandro dos Santos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nilton Tinoco in the 81st minute of play. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Anjinho SS's goalkeeper Aleandro dos Santos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nilton Tinoco struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Aleandro dos Santos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Timaneira. In the 93rd minute, Erik Valle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Erik Valle came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Anjinho SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erik Valle couldn't finish the play. Anjinho SS's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
