Fellipe Pombal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adriano Barreto in the 4th minute of play. Juninho Gaúcho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fellipe Pombal having to interfere. Almir de Lara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hudson Silva, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 22nd minute, Andromeda FC's Juninho Gaúcho ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fellipe Pombal. Fellipe Pombal yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Almir de Lara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Luís Matorin in the 26th minute of the match. In the 39th minute of the game Cléberson Palmeira made a throw-in which Hudson Silva played forward. Andromeda FC's Almir de Lara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mazinho Zanette in the 41st minute of play. Dagoberto Toledo kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. In the 43rd minute Luizão Melo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Almir de Lara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mazinho Zanette to make the kick off. The attack was good, but when Juninho Gaúcho in the 56th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. When Andromeda FC's Juninho Gaúcho in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cunani's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Juninho Gaúcho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Almir de Lara didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hudson Silva went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Almir de Lara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mazinho Zanette in the 77th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armandinho Tasso in the 80th minute of play forced Cunani's goalkeeper Fellipe Pombal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mazinho Zanette blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Almir de Lara having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mazinho Zanette in the 85th minute of play forced Andromeda FC's goalkeeper Almir de Lara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Almir de Lara made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when David Mesquita sent off a good shot on target. 89 minutes into the game, Andromeda FC's Juninho Gaúcho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fellipe Pombal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. A throw-in in the 93rd minute of the game was made by Cléberson Palmeira with Hudson Silva as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Andromeda FC had won after a very even match.
