Celso Dantas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frederico Pimenta having to interfere. In the 5th minute Raúl Monteiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cláudio Soares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 9 minutes in the game, Celso Dantas fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Frederico Pimenta having to interfere. 11 minutes into the match, Pratigipe EC's goal looked a bit too open when Otávio Nóbrega came free, but Cláudio Soares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lenílson Vides's late challenge caught a Cojubim's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lenílson Vides helped the player get up and apologised. Lenílson Vides kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. The supporters of Pratigipe EC booed when Cojubim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruninho Vander didn't get a good kick on the ball. Natã Hames took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Frederico Pimenta. Frederico Pimenta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Natã Hames fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frederico Pimenta having to interfere. The supporters of Cojubim booed when Pratigipe EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rubens Neves didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40th minute, Bruninho Vander ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cláudio Soares was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Otávio Nóbrega in the 44th minute of play forced Pratigipe EC's goalkeeper Cláudio Soares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Pratigipe EC's goal looked a bit too open when Kiko Rocha came free, but Cláudio Soares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cláudio Soares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kiko Rocha in the 47th minute of the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Raúl Monteiro to make the kick off. Otávio Nóbrega took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cláudio Soares. Cláudio Soares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. With a little luck, Pratigipe EC's Cláudio Soares got control of the ball when Otávio Nóbrega tried to sneak it across the goal line. Natã Hames received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Frederico Pimenta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cláudio Soares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raúl Monteiro in the 60th minute of the match. Celso Dantas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frederico Pimenta having to interfere. Kiko Rocha kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Frederico Pimenta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Natã Hames, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Natã Hames received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Frederico Pimenta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pratigipe EC's Cláudio Soares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raúl Monteiro in the 85th minute of play. Bruninho Vander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Natã Hames had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cojubim's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
