Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Anderson Fantini started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Pupuri's Hernani de Queiroz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tales Lima narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 10th minute, Anísio Carvalho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pupuri fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hernani de Queiroz in the 14th minute of play forced Tapiratiba's goalkeeper Tales Lima to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Tapiratiba getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Cipriano Veiga hit a great ball. When Isaltino Quaresma got free in front of the goal in the 16th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Tiago Gabriel Sarmento was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Ulysses Dantas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Anderson Fantini came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Tapiratiba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anderson Fantini couldn't finish the play. Anderson Fantini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiago Gabriel Sarmento having to interfere. Isaltino Quaresma in the 30thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tiago Gabriel Sarmento, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Hernani de Queiroz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Anderson Fantini was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 33rd minute. Tapiratiba's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 35th minute of the match Roberto Nóbrega sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tiago Gabriel Sarmento skillfully saved the ball. Anderson Fantini received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tiago Gabriel Sarmento came out and tried to block the shot, but Anderson Fantini slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 38th minute. The referee gave Pupuri a penalty, 44 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Natanael Montenegro, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Tapiratiba's Tales Lima. 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hernani de Queiroz made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anderson Fantini in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tiago Gabriel Sarmento saved Pupuri from getting behind. In the 56th minute, Hernani de Queiroz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anísio Carvalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Tales Lima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Anderson Fantini came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Tapiratiba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anderson Fantini couldn't finish the play. Tiago Gabriel Sarmento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anderson Fantini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tiago Gabriel Sarmento stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anderson Fantini's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Hernani de Queiroz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tales Lima having to interfere. The supporters of Pupuri booed when Tapiratiba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cipriano Veiga didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Pupuri's Natanael Montenegro tried to score from far away in the 78th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 80th minute Isaltino Quaresma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiago Gabriel Sarmento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcinho Silveira kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Anderson Fantini scored 3-2 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tiago Gabriel Sarmento, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the Pupuri players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Tapiratiba.
