The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Tarcisio Pirani cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Eurico Neiva was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eurico Neiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lúcio Queirós in the 6th minute of play. Elias Gomes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Douglas Paes having to interfere. Eurico Neiva didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Andrezinho F.C's Tarcisio Pirani shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Andrezinho F.C's Douglas Paes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Andrezinho F.C from getting a goal against them. Kiko Araújo hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Oséias Gerber's late challenge caught a Andrezinho F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. In the 38thth minute of the game Lúcio Queirós who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ihun's Eurico Neiva was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Douglas Paes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bruninho Sampaio in the 41st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Andrezinho F.C's zone, Elias Gomes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Douglas Paes came out of the goal and Elias Gomes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eurico Neiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lúcio Queirós in the 46th minute of play. Cléberson Loureiro kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elias Gomes to make the kick off. Eurico Neiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lúcio Queirós in the 53rd minute of play. In the 55th minute Andrezinho F.C were awarded a corner. Lino Quirino went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Lino Quirino got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Eurico Neiva quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Elias Gomes struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Douglas Paes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ihun. Andrezinho F.C were furious when Jano Félix was red carded, 63 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Andrezinho F.C fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 63rd minute. Penalty! After 71 played minutes Andrezinho F.C got a freekick which was hit by Armindo Pimenta. Iuri Moura took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 72nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Douglas Paes. Andrezinho F.C's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 73 minutes into the game, one of Ihun:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Lino Quirino shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Tarcisio Pirani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eurico Neiva having to interfere. Andrezinho F.C's Tarcisio Pirani got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 82nd minute, Oséias Gerber hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tarcisio Pirani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Ihun's zone, Tarcisio Pirani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eurico Neiva came out of the goal and Tarcisio Pirani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match was over Andrezinho F.C could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ihun throughout the match.
