Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) With a little luck, Darcilena's Fernão Proença got control of the ball when José Pedro Simão tried to sneak it across the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, Darcilena's goal looked a bit too open when Sidnei Ramos came free, but Fernão Proença reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Germano Pernambucano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Valdemar Leme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan de Medeiros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Juerana's Carlos Augusto Vasconcelos got a free kick in the 19th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Claudinei de Lara during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Darcilena getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Claudinei de Lara hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when José Pedro Simão got free with Fernão Proença in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fernão Proença came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Juerana's José Pedro Simão. But to his dismay, José Pedro Simão quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Germano Pernambucano in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valdemar Leme saved Juerana from getting behind. After 29 played minutes Juerana got a freekick which was hit by José Carlos Albuquerque. A collision led to Darcilena getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Jonathan de Medeiros hit a great ball. Fernão Proença made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Rodrigues in the 33rd minute of play. José Carlos Albuquerque hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. After having played for 37 minutes, Anselmo Ramalho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Darcilena's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anselmo Ramalho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Germano Pernambucano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Darcilena's supporters rose to their feet, but Germano Pernambucano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valdemar Leme breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Jonathan de Medeiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Juerana's zone, Germano Pernambucano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valdemar Leme came out of the goal and Germano Pernambucano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Germano Pernambucano made a kick off. Luiz Rodrigues scored 2-0 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fernão Proença, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fernão Proença showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Pedro Simão in the 73rd minute of the match. Fernão Proença made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Pedro Simão in the 76th minute of play. Germano Pernambucano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Valdemar Leme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Luiz Rodrigues hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Anselmo Ramalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonathan de Medeiros got free with Valdemar Leme in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luiz Rodrigues's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fernão Proença read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. The Juerana support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
