Henrique Pirani started the match with the kick off. Cássio Aguiar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Paulo Coutinho having to interfere. After having played for 7 minutes, Henrique Pirani managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tijucopapo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henrique Pirani was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 9 minutes into the match, Charitas's goalkeeper Claudinei Matos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ramiro Miranda. With a little luck, Charitas's Claudinei Matos got control of the ball when Mateus de Castro tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Fabiano Magalhães in the 19th minute of play forced Tijucopapo's goalkeeper João Paulo Coutinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henrique Pirani charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Henrique Pirani the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Tijucopapo getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Henrique Pirani hit a great ball. In the 71st minute of the match Donato Sabóia shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Claudinei Matos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Mateus de Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Claudinei Matos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henrique Pirani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 78 minutes into the match, Tijucopapo's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Fabiano Magalhães came free, but João Paulo Coutinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rafael Severo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Claudinei Matos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateus de Castro in the 83rd minute of play. When Luiz Fabiano Magalhães came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Charitas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luiz Fabiano Magalhães couldn't finish the play. After 88 minutes, José Pedro Dionísio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Charitas and the Tijucopapo players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Tijucopapo booed when Charitas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Pedro Dionísio didn't get a good kick on the ball.
