Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cássio Aguiar took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adilson Vale. Adilson Vale dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 12th minute Luiz Fabiano Magalhães shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adilson Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Luiz Fabiano Magalhães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luiz Fabiano Magalhães sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th minute, Cássio Aguiar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Charitas getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Gabriel Rosado hit a great ball. Claudinei Matos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Filipe Cordeiro went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 34 minutes into the match, Taim's goalkeeper Adilson Vale had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cássio Aguiar. Adilson Vale made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cássio Aguiar in the 35th minute. Kléber Arce kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Jonas Munhoz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 38th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Claudinei Matos. Charitas's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Claudinei Matos came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Taim's Oswaldo Sergipano. But to his dismay, Oswaldo Sergipano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. If Luiz Fabiano Magalhães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adilson Vale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Pedro Dionísio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Cássio Aguiar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Filipe Cordeiro got free with Claudinei Matos in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 57th minute, Jonathan Arantes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hélio Peixoto, 58 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Luiz Fabiano Magalhães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adilson Vale having to interfere. Rafael Severo charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rafael Severo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rafael Severo kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Taim's Tostão Soeiro suffered a sore thigh after 65 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Gabriel Rosado hit a great ball. Filipe Cordeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Claudinei Matos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luiz Fabiano Magalhães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adilson Vale having to interfere. 72 minutes into the game, Cássio Aguiar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Adilson Vale was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Charitas getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. José Pedro Dionísio hit a great ball. In the 78th minute, Rafael Severo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luiz Fabiano Magalhães's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adilson Vale read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Luiz Fabiano Magalhães notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Taim's Adilson Vale. Adilson Vale was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 91st minute, Cássio Aguiar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Charitas's Cássio Aguiar got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Charitas's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
