He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. João Paulo Coutinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oswaldo Sergipano, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. In the 8th minute, Filipe Cordeiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Oswaldo Sergipano was extremely unlucky when he, in the 11th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Adilson Vale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mateus de Castro, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. If Filipe Cordeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tijucopapo's João Paulo Coutinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oswaldo Sergipano in the 17th minute of play. Filipe Cordeiro scored 1-0 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of João Paulo Coutinho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Ramiro Miranda fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tijucopapo's protests and gave Ramiro Miranda a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Tijucopapo's Ramiro Miranda got a free kick in the 25th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Taim's Filipe Cordeiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that João Paulo Coutinho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mateus de Castro might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adilson Vale. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mateus de Castro ran back to his position shaking his head. Henrique Pirani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adilson Vale having to interfere. Taim's Adilson Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mateus de Castro in the 45th minute of play. The supporters of Tijucopapo booed when Taim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Arantes didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Oswaldo Sergipano to strike the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes of play, Taim's Filipe Cordeiro made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. João Paulo Coutinho was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Donato Sabóia during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Tijucopapo getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Donato Sabóia hit a great ball. If Mateus de Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filipe Cordeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 81 played minutes Taim got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Arantes. 82 minutes into the match, Tijucopapo's Toninho Andrade broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 84 minutes into the game, Filipe Cordeiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. João Paulo Coutinho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tijucopapo's João Paulo Coutinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oswaldo Sergipano in the 94th minute of play. Filipe Cordeiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 99th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Taim had won after a very even match.
