After a defensive mix-up in Rondon SS's zone, Rodriguinho Antunes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dênis Queiroz came out of the goal and Rodriguinho Antunes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 15th minute, Yan Custódio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dênis Queiroz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. André Almeida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silas Nascimento, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 24th match minute, Rondon SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horácio Saraiva to maneuver through the defense. When Parteiro's Rodriguinho Antunes in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rondon SS's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Silas Nascimento in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck André Almeida prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After recieving a nice pass, Rondon SS's Zé Roberto Leal tried to score from far away in the 44th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 47th minute, Nicolas Fernandes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
57 minutes into the match, Rondon SS's goal looked a bit too open when Yan Custódio came free, but Dênis Queiroz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Yan Custódio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dênis Queiroz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rodriguinho Antunes in the 61st minute. In the 63rd minute Yan Custódio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dênis Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juvenal Pombal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Almeida having to interfere. Nicolas Fernandes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. André Almeida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juvenal Pombal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 81 minutes, Dinei Penha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Parteiro and the Rondon SS players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Parteiro's Dinei Penha got a free kick in the 81st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Rondon SS's zone, Rodriguinho Antunes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat.
