After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Edvaldo Paes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tateco's supporters rose to their feet, but Edvaldo Paes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Léo Coelho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alan Custódio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Léo Coelho having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, Tateco's goal looked a bit too open when Dalmo Prado came free, but Arthur Koehler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dalmo Prado made a kick off. Cacá Tepedino struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Léo Coelho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tateco. Alegre FC's Léo Coelho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alan Custódio in the 53rd minute of play. During the 54th minute of the match Mário Zonta completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Mário Zonta a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Mário Zonta hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Alegre FC defense, Edvaldo Paes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Léo Coelho. The Alegre FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Léo Coelho should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Alegre FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. João Pedro Nascimento hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Alegre FC's zone, Alan Custódio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Léo Coelho came out of the goal and Alan Custódio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 74 played minutes Tateco got a freekick which was hit by Cacá Tepedino. Dalmo de Alcântara hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. 83 minutes into the game, Tateco's Edvaldo Paes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Léo Coelho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 88th minute Edvaldo Paes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Léo Coelho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tateco's Alan Custódio got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 96th minute, Edvaldo Paes made a precise shot to the right of Léo Coelho. Alegre FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0.
