Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nelsinho Lira took the kick off in the first half of the match. After having played for 6 minutes, William Terra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palestina FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but William Terra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nelsinho Lira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Custódio Pires read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Nelsinho Lira took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Custódio Pires to make any attempt to save it. Albertino Maia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Custódio Pires having to interfere. After 20 played minutes Palestina FC got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldo Couto. If Albertino Maia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Albertino Maia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aguamare SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Albertino Maia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Custódio Pires breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Custódio Pires showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nelsinho Lira in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Palestina FC's goalkeeper Custódio Pires, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 38 played minutes Aguamare SS got a freekick which was hit by Valdir Linares. Custódio Pires took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nelsinho Lira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nelsinho Lira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Custódio Pires tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Custódio Pires showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nelsinho Lira, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. When Valdo Paiva came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Palestina FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valdo Paiva couldn't finish the play. Emerson de Queiroz charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emerson de Queiroz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Albertino Maia came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Aguamare SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albertino Maia couldn't finish the play. Custódio Pires took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nelsinho Lira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Aguamare SS's Nelsinho Lira in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Palestina FC's goalie prevented a goal. If Albertino Maia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 77 minutes into the match, Palestina FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nelsinho Lira came free, but Custódio Pires reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nelsinho Lira in the 82nd minute of play forced Palestina FC's goalkeeper Custódio Pires to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute, Emerson de Queiroz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nelsinho Lira struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Custódio Pires didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aguamare SS. In the 92nd match minute, Palestina FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gugu Prado to maneuver through the defense. If Albertino Maia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Palestina FC booed when Aguamare SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 99 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdir Linares didn't get a good kick on the ball. Palestina FC's Germano Vinhas couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 100th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Aguamare SS. When the referee ended the match the Aguamare SS players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
