Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Nelsinho Lira made the kick off which started today's match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nelsinho Lira in the 5th minute of play forced Barcelona's goalkeeper Isaltino Baptista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alan Abraão got free with Eriberto Cruz in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Barcelona booed when Aguamare SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emerson de Queiroz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 17 minutes, Alan Abraão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barcelona's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alan Abraão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 20 minutes into the game, Barcelona's Alessandro Sabóia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eriberto Cruz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Barcelona's Isaltino Baptista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albertino Maia in the 34th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Albertino Maia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Basílio Cosme hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Lúcio Maia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 48 minutes, Cléber Dantas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barcelona and the Aguamare SS players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 48th match minute, Barcelona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cléber Dantas to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alan Abraão to strike the kick off in the second half. Alessandro Sabóia took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eriberto Cruz. Eriberto Cruz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Eriberto Cruz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cléber Dantas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alan Abraão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Eriberto Cruz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Américo Lucas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Aguamare SS booed when Barcelona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lúcio Maia didn't get a good kick on the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Nelsinho Lira dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Isaltino Baptista, 2-1. In the 80th minute, Nelsinho Lira fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After 83 minutes, Alessandro Sabóia made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Aguamare SS's Eriberto Cruz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 88th minute, Barcelona's Nilson Pena seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Nilson Pena the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Barcelona protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Nilson Pena had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 87th minute of the game. One of Barcelona:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Aguamare SS:s goal. Isaltino Baptista went to the wrong direction when Murillo Loureiro was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Eriberto Cruz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alessandro Sabóia, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Nelsinho Lira took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Isaltino Baptista to make any attempt to save it. There was no doubt that Barcelona were the better team. Barcelona's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
