Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gerson Freire kicked off to start the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Osvaldo Albuquerque during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Uruburetama AD getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Osvaldo Albuquerque hit a great ball. After 10 played minutes Uruburetama AD got a freekick which was hit by Osvaldo Albuquerque. 14 minutes into the game, Edmundo Amaral was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Uruburetama AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guarucity the free kick. After 14 played minutes Uruburetama AD got a freekick which was hit by Edmundo Amaral. If Glauco Lara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pedrão Pereira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 23 minutes, Belchior Salgado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uruburetama AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Belchior Salgado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Raí Monteiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerson Freire, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute, Gerson Freire left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Uruburetama AD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 29 minutes into the match, Uruburetama AD's goal looked a bit too open when Glauco Lara came free, but Ulisses Nunes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute, Uruburetama AD's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Glauco Lara fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When Guarucity's Pedrão Pereira in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Uruburetama AD's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Glauco Lara in the 37th minute of play forced Uruburetama AD's goalkeeper Ulisses Nunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 40 played minutes Uruburetama AD got a freekick which was hit by Osvaldo Albuquerque. Ulisses Nunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Glauco Lara in the 43rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedrão Pereira got free with Ulisses Nunes in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Glauco Lara made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Uruburetama AD's Belchior Salgado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Raí Monteiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Uruburetama AD's zone, Glauco Lara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ulisses Nunes came out of the goal and Glauco Lara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Válbson Correia hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Glauco Lara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guarucity's supporters rose to their feet, but Glauco Lara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ulisses Nunes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pedrão Pereira struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Ulisses Nunes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guarucity. After 75 minutes, Renatinho Pena mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guarucity and the Uruburetama AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Uruburetama AD booed when Guarucity was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Renatinho Pena didn't get a good kick on the ball. 1-2 came in the 76th minute when Adelino Barreto all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Raí Monteiro. Belchior Salgado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raí Monteiro having to interfere. If Edmundo Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Glauco Lara came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Guarucity fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Glauco Lara couldn't finish the play. Ulisses Nunes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pedrão Pereira went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. In the 95th minute, Belchior Salgado made a precise shot to the right of Raí Monteiro. Guarucity's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Uruburetama AD had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
